Specializing in Fine Art Paintings
Watercolor · Oil · Acrylic · Pastel

L. Anne Collum attended school in Memphis, Tennessee where she was introduced to art at an early age.  She experienced the art of making pottery, porcelain painting, and fine art painting classes during high school and later art and drawing college classes.

Always a country girl at heart she spent all the time she could at her grandfather’s DeSoto County Mississippi farm. While at the farm, she had the opportunity to draw and paint the landscapes, barns, buildings and animals.  She soon learned to appreciate all types of animals, their natural beauty and the beauty of all the nature around them.

After Anne and her husband Buddy were married, they made their home in DeSoto County where they raised three beautiful daughters. Over the past, fifty plus years Anne and her family have had a variety of animals on their DeSoto and Tate County farms. For the last, few years Anne and her husband have been semi retired; now only raising, training, and showing registered American Miniature Horses. This now allows Anne more time to devote to her long time interest of painting, in a variety of mediums and subjects.

Anne's artwork is in numerous private collections and businesses through out the United States.

Anne is an active member of DeSoto Arts Council and Sycamore Arts Council. She is a past officer of Artist Network of North MS.
